The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour was proud to host the Major Championship at Countryside this past weekend, May 17–18, at the beautiful Countryside Golf Club. The thrilling two-day event featured a challenging 36-hole format and highlighted the impressive skills of junior golfers competing across four divisions: Boys 16–18, Boys 14–15, Boys 12–13, and Girls 14–18.
Henry Sobaski from Fairfax, IA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sobaski brought in scores of 70 and 79 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Henry Thier from Dubuque, IA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 74 for a combined total of 153. Colton McCollaugh from Dubuque, IA finished in third place with scores of 82 and 73 for a weekend total of 155.
Harrison Hartke from Cedar Rapids, IA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hartke brought in scores of 76 and 80 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Tavish Sidhu from Waunakee, WI was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 82 for a combined total of 159. Andrew Wells from Lake Forest, IL finished in third place with scores of 81 and 85 for a weekend total of 166.
Jackson Bergstrom from Sartell, MN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bergstrom brought in scores of 78 and 74 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Marko Rando from West Bay, Cayman Islands was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 80 for a combined total of 160. Hunter Kassam finished third place with scores of 86 and 79 for a weekend total of 165.
Isabella Kongshaug from Elk Mound, WI was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kongshaug brought in scores of 77 and 80 for a combined total of 157 for the weekend. Clara Kongshaug from Elk Mound, WI was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 84 for a combined total of 169. Ashika Patel from Naperville, IL finished in third place with scores of 86 and 87 for a combined total of 173.
