From April 20-21, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Major Championship at Bunker Hill. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Noah Dever, from New Concord, OH, secured the top spot with a total of 156 strokes, claiming first place after rounds of 79 and 77. Diesel Williams, representing North Bloomfield, OH, secured second place with a total score of 158 strokes, posting rounds of 79 and 79. Michael (Mick) Ambrose from Canfield, OH, tied for third place with a total of 161 strokes, after rounds of 82 and 79.
Dexter James Jr., representing Hudson, OH, secured the lead with a total of 160 strokes, claiming first place after rounds of 85 and 75. Nathan Chege from Olmsted Falls, OH, secured second place with a total score of 168 strokes, posting rounds of 84 and 84. Santino Toscano from New Wilmington, PA, landed in third place with a total of 172 strokes, after rounds of 85 and 87.
Avery Glenn, representing Centerburg, OH, claimed the lead with a total of 165 strokes, securing first place after rounds of 80 and 85. Betty Glyptis from Venetia, PA, secured second place with a total score of 169 strokes, posting rounds of 88 and 81. Moira Erhartic from Fairview, PA, secured third place with a total of 177 strokes, after rounds of 88 and 89.
