In the boys 16-18 division, Thomas Caffarelli from Scottsdale, AZ finished the weekend as our champion. Caffarelli secured his victory after a playoff against Zachary Huscusson from Clinton, OH. Coming down the 18th fairway both players were neck and neck. After a par from Caffarelli and a birdie from Huscusson, the boys were forced into a playoff. Caffarelli took control of the playoff to be the champion for the weekend. This was Caffarelli’s second HJGT tournament of the year; earlier this month he placed 3rd at the Summer College Prep Series at Penn State. Huscusson finished the weekend with a scorecard of 143 strokes. We applaud his efforts in the playoff, his next tournament will be in July at the Cleveland Summer Junior Open.
