The Laurel Hill Junior Open at Laurel Hill Golf Club delivered an exciting weekend of junior golf competition from March 15-16, 2025. Players brought their A-game to the course, demonstrating skill, resilience, and sportsmanship in pursuit of victory.
Patrick Carl from Mount Airy, MD, finished in first place, delivering an outstanding performance with a 67 on Day 1 and a 73 on Day 2, totaling 140 strokes. David Patrylo from La Plata, MD, secured second place, shooting 71 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, for a total of 145 strokes. Yuchen Li from Beijing, China, took third place with rounds of 72 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2, finishing at 149 strokes.
Sebby Horne from Charlottesville, VA, won first place, tying with Terence McAuley from Haymarket, VA. Both finished with a total of 160 strokes—Horne carded 80 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2, while McAuley shot 83 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2. Alexander Randolph from Bridgeport, WV, secured third place, shooting 80 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, totaling 161 strokes.
Lucas Palmer from Ashburn, VA, took first place, shooting 75 on both days for a total of 150 strokes. Ryan Totte from Falls Church, VA, secured second place with rounds of 79 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, finishing at 153 strokes. Weston Kim from Oakton, VA, finished in third place with scores of 78 on Day 1 and 76 on Day 2, totaling 154 strokes
Charlotte Harvey from Sterling, VA, finished in first place, shooting 83 on Day 1 and 91 on Day 2, for a total of 174 strokes. Madelyn Pool from Springfield, VA, took second place with rounds of 95 on Day 1 and 90 on Day 2, totaling 185 strokes. Kate Mazefsky from Wexford, PA, secured third place, posting rounds of 94 on Day 1 and 96 on Day 2, for a total of 190 strokes.
