The Lake Worth Junior Open at Fountains wrapped up an exciting weekend of junior golf competition at The Fountains Country Club from March 15-16, 2025. Talented young golfers competed across multiple divisions, showcasing their skills and determination on a challenging course. With impressive performances throughout the tournament, the event delivered excitement and unforgettable moments.
Reed Weekley from Davie, FL, finished in first place, delivering rounds of 71 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, totaling 144 strokes. Julian Ortiz from Mexico secured second place with rounds of 76 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, finishing with 149 strokes. Jack Bennett from Chappaqua, NY, rounded out the top three, posting 79 on Day 1 and 71 on Day 2, for a combined total of 150 strokes.
Brayden Peeler from Pompano Beach, FL, finished in first place, scoring 74 on Day 1 and 86 on Day 2, totaling 160 strokes. Brayden Grossman from Avon, CT, and Luis Felipe Linares from Bogotá, Colombia, tied for second place, each finishing with a total of 169 strokes. Grossman shot 82 on Day 1 and 87 on Day 2, while Linares recorded 90 on Day 1 and 79 on Day 2.
Hudson Huzarsky from Boca Raton, FL, secured first place, recording rounds of 83 on Day 1 and 76 on Day 2, for a total of 159 strokes. Colton Witczak from Aurora, CO, finished in second place, posting 86 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2, totaling 171 strokes. Chasen Campbell from Fort Lauderdale, FL, finished in third place, scoring 86 on Day 1 and 89 on Day 2, with a final total of 175 strokes.
Emily McKee from Oakville, Ontario, Canada, finished in first place, posting 81 on Day 1 and 76 on Day 2, for a total of 157 strokes. Lindsey Marcellus from Loxahatchee, FL, secured second place with rounds of 77 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, finishing with 158 strokes. Valeria Davila Linares from Bogotá, Colombia, rounded out the top three, recording 81 on Day 1 and 82 on Day 2, for a final score of 163 strokes.
