Orlando, FL- January 13,, 2024 – The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) wrapped up its highly anticipated Lake Buena Vista Junior Open in Orlando, Florida, on January 11-12, 2025. The tournament featured a 36-hole format and drew competitors across five divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11, and Girls 14-18.
Seughwa Baek from Cheonan-si, Republic of Korea was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Baek finished the weekend with an impressive round one score of 70 and a round two score of 73 for a weekend total of 143 strokes. Matthew Lim from Skillman, NJ and Gabriel Prisciandaro from Oviedo, FL tied for the runner-up honors this weekend. Lim finished with scores of 77 and 76 and Prisciandaro finished with scores of 79 and 74. Both totaling 153 strokes for the weekend.
Will McGee from Orlando, FL was the first-place finisher for the weekend. McGee finished the weekend with scores of 86 and 80 for a weekend total of 166 strokes. Brendan Bell Jr from Dickson City, PA was the runner-up for the weekend. Bell finished with scores of 86 and 83 for a weekend total of 169 strokes.
Rounding out the top three honors was William Bailine from Miami, FL. Bailine brought in scores of 84 and 87 for a weekend total of 171 strokes.
Leo Taylor from Windermere, FL was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Taylor brought in scores of 79 and a record low 67 for round two. Taylor holed out on 18 from 125 yards out to be 6 under for the day. He finished with a weekend score of 146 strokes. Lucas Lu from Orlando, FL was the runner up for the weekend. Lu brought in scores of 86 and 80 for a weekend total of 166 strokes.
Anthony Bitetto from Windermere, FL was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Bitetto brought in an impressive score of 70 for round one and 79 for round two, for a weekend total of 149 strokes. Logan Tedrow from Glenelg, MD was the runner up for the weekend. Tedrow finished the weekend with scores of 76 and 85 for a weekend total of 161 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Raaghav Khera from Oakville, Canada. Khera finished the weekend with scores of 82 and 84 for a weekend total of 166 strokes.
Elena Zreik from Sleepy Hollow, NY was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Zreik finished the weekend with scores of 78 and 77 for a weekend total of 155 strokes. Zilin Liu from Florida was the runner up for the weekend. Liu finished with scores of 81 and 76 for a weekend total of 157 strokes. Sienna Mosquera from Southampton, Bermuda rounded out the top three honors with scores of 83 and 78 for a weekend scores of 161 strokes.
