From March 30-31, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Knoxville Spring Kickoff at Avalon. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Ben Christian from Dexter, MO was the first-place finisher of the Knoxville Spring Kickoff at Avalon. Christian scored 76 and 75, giving him a combined total of 151 strokes. Leo Huddleston from Maryville, TN was the runner up. Huddleston scored 77 in both rounds, giving him a total of 154 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Payson Dotson from Findlay, OH. Dotson scored 77 and 78, giving him a combined total of 155 strokes to finish the weekend.
Jaycob Fowler from Jonesborough, TN was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Fowler scored 82 and 80, giving him a combined total of 162 strokes. Tej Bulusu from Hilliard, OH was the runner up, shooting 85 and 86 to finish with 171 strokes. Nikhil Patel from Knoxville, TN rounded out the top three honors. Patel scored 86 in both rounds, giving him a total score of 172 strokes.
Trip Neely from Winchester, KY was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Neely scored 86 and 87, giving him a combined total of 173 strokes.
Isabella Elena Shannon Hernandez from Arlington, TN was the first-place finisher of the Girls 14-18 Division. Shannon Hernandez scored 83 and 76, giving her a combined total of 159 strokes. Alexis Fishel from Lenoir City, TN was the runner up, shooting 85 and 83 to finish with 168 strokes. Rounding out the leaderboard was Charlie Duchnij from Airdrie, Canada. Duchnij scored 92 and 87, giving her a combined total of 179 strokes.
Skylar Mann from Eureka, MO was the first-place finisher of the Girls U13 Division. Mann scored 88 in both rounds, giving her a combined total of 176 strokes. Audrey King from Nolensville, TN was the runner up, shooting 98 and 110 to finish with 208 strokes.
