The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour wrapped up an exciting weekend at the Knoxville Spring Kickoff, held March 29-30, 2025, at Avalon Country Club. Junior golfers from near and far showcased their talent across six competitive divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13.
Kittiphop Chantang of Muang, Thailand finished in first place after shooting a 74 on Day 1 and a 72 on
Day 2 for a tournament total of 146 strokes. Siyolo Joseph of St. Georges, Antigua and Barbuda earned
second place with an impressive Day 1 score of 70 and a 78 on Day 2, totaling 148 strokes. Henry
Beasley of Signal Mountain, TN claimed third with rounds of 75 and 77 for a final score of 152 strokes.
Cole Layow of Nicholasville, KY secured first place with consistent rounds of 81 on both Day 1 and Day
2, finishing with 162 strokes. Jeremy “Luke” Diamond of Morristown, TN took second place, scoring 87
on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, ending with a total of 168 strokes. Jackson Young of Kennesaw, GA came in
third, carding a 76 on Day 1 and a 95 on Day 2 for a total of 171 strokes.
Paul Sutton Amrich of Greenwich, CT delivered a strong performance, finishing in first place with scores
of 79 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2, for a total of 164 strokes.
Alexis Fishel of Lenoir City, TN finished in first place, tallying an 81 on Day 1 and an 86 on Day 2, for a
total of 167 strokes. Cadey Maness of Selmer, TN followed closely behind in second, scoring 83 on Day 1
and 86 on Day 2, for a total of 169 strokes. Addison Ryland of Soddy Daisy, TN claimed third place with
rounds of 89 and 85, totaling 174 strokes.
Kara Cretsinger of Jonesborough, TN secured first place in this division with a score of 78 on Day 1 and
84 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 162 strokes.
