From April 9th-10th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Knoxville Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Viktor Stollinger from Budapest, Hungary was the first-place finisher this weekend after beating Trey Wall in a playoff. Stollinger brought in scores of 76 and 72 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Trey Wall from Benton, KY was the runner-up this weekend after the playoff with scores of 77 and 71 for a combined total of 148. Nick Talley from Maryville, TN finished top three honors with scores of 75 and 77 for a weekend total of 152.
