2022 Kingsmill Junior Open
From June 4th-5th. 2022 the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Kingsmill Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Matthew Normand from Lumberton, New Jersey was the first-place finisher this weekend. Normand brought in scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Caden Sherman from Glen Allen, Virginia was the runner-up for this weekend with scores of 76 and 77 for a combined total of 153. Rua Kimotho from Fairfax, Virginia finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 77 for a weekend total of 154.

Declan Gustavson from Purcellville, Virginia and Nathan Smith from Chestertown, Maryland finished the top three honors tied for third place. Gustavson and Smith brought in matching scores of 82 and 80 for a combined total of 162 each.
