From April 22-23, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Kentucky Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Carson Foltz from Van Buren, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. Foltz brought in scores of 76 and 77 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Tanner Wood from Reynoldsburg, OH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 74 for a combined total of 154. Matthew Carney from Barboursville, WV finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 75 for a weekend total of 155.
William White from Barboursville, WV was the first-place finisher this weekend. White brought in scores of 77 and 78 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Layton Richey from Bowling Green, KY, Barton Rutledge from Scottsville, KY, and Will Stuart from Louisvile, KY all tied for runner up for the weekend. Richey’s scores of 76 and 82, Rutledge’s scores of 80 and 78, and Stuart’s scores of 79 and 79 all combined to tie for a weekend total of 158.
Alex Hasselbeck from Anchorage, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hasselbeck brought in scores of 78 and 74 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Cade Wilson from Louisville, KY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 77 for a combined total of 155. Grant Guetig from Louisville, KY finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 78 for a weekend total of 159.
Kylah Lunsford from Lexington, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lunsford brought in scores of 83 and 76 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Brooklynn Bohnert from Lanesville, IN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 81 for a combined total of 166. Maureen Burns from Cincinatti, OH finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 80 for a weekend total of 167.
