From April 23rd-24th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Kentucky Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Divison.

Joshua Weiner from Macedonia, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. Weiner brought in scores of 76 and 77 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Garrett Wellman from Frankfort, KY was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 78 and 77 for a combined total of 155. Michael Okeefe from Chicago, IL finished with top three honors with scores of 74 and 83 for a weekend total of 157.
