Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Kansas City Summer Junior Open at Fred Arbanas this past weekend, August 16-17, at Fred Arbanas Golf Club at Longview Lake. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 5 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Jake Gorden from Grain Valley, MO was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Gorden brought in scores of 74 and 73 for a weekend total of 147 strokes. Rowan Banning from Leawood, KS was the runner up for the weekend finishing with scores of 76 and 72 for a weekend total of 148 strokes. Caleb Kim from Springfield, MO and Brady Powers tied for the third place honors. Kim finished with scores of 74 and 75 for a weekend total of 149 strokes. Powers brought in scores of 76 and 73 for a weekend total of 149 strokes.
Jackson Wood from Mission Hills, KS was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Wood brought in scores of 72 and 73 for a weekend total of 145 strokes. CJ Lee from Leawood, KS was the runner up for the weekend bringing in scores of 74 and 73 for a final total of 147 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was John DeLuca from Chesterfield, MO. DeLuca finished with scores of 75 and 74 for a weekend total of 149 strokes.
Jacob Boswell from Kansas City, MO was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Boswell brought in scores of 86 and 84 for a weekend total of 170 strokes. Graydon Taradash from Leawood, KS was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 91 and 93 for a weekend total of 184 strokes.
Addicyn Sailer from Dakota Dunes, SD was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Sailer brought in scores of 90 and 84 for a weekend total of 174 strokes. Kendall Curran from Urbandale, IA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 90 and 86 for a weekend total of 176 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Taylor Rude from Shawnee, KS. Rude finished with a total scores of 241 strokes.
