From April 1-2, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Jekyll Island Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Dallas Johnson from Mt. Pleasant, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Johnson brought in scores of 69 and 69 for a combined total of 138 for the weekend. Kai Carlson from Pittsburgh, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 76 for a combined total of 147. Walker Faust from Albany, Bahamas finished the top three honors with scores of 73 and 76 for a weekend total of 149.
Luke Schmiegelow from Little Rock, AR was the first-place finisher this weekend. Schmiegelow brought in scores of 84 and 77 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Blake Spivey from Canton, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 91 and 83 for a combined total of 174.
Gunner Webb from Johns Creek, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Webb brought in scores of 74 and 79 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend.
Marie Tesiero from Saint Johns, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Tesiero brought in scores of 80 and 76 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Grace Breffitt from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 77 for a combined total of 162. Eve Krinsky from Pound Ridge, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 86 and 77 for a weekend total of 163.
Carol Ann Mendenhall from Nicholasville, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mendenhall brought in scores of 81 and 78 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend.
