The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour proudly concluded the Innisbrook
Spring Junior Open, held April 19–20, 2025, at the beautiful Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, FL. Junior golfers showcased grit and skill over two days of competition across six divisions, with exciting rounds that brought out the best in each player.
Gavin Karlin of Belmar, NJ, finished in first place after posting a 71 on Day 1 and a 75 on Day 2, totaling 146 strokes. Joseph Hansen of Cumberland Center, ME, followed closely with scores of 74 and 74 for a 148 total. Malaquias Vargas of Tela, Honduras, rounded out the top three with a solid 77 and 74, finishing at 151 strokes.
Patrick Paquette of Cincinnati, OH, claimed first place with rounds of 77 and 78, totaling 155 strokes. Camden Kurtz of Palm Harbor, FL, finished second with 79 and 82 for a 161 total. Nanxi Ren of Beijing, China, secured third place with rounds of 82 and 86, totaling 168 strokes.
Charles Peng of Land O’ Lakes, FL, captured the win with a two-day total of 162 strokes, finishing with scores of 79 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2. James De Leon, IV of Marietta, GA, took second place with rounds of 90 and 96, totaling 186 strokes.
Mack Wong of St. Petersburg, FL, finished in first place with rounds of 84 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2,
totaling 158 strokes. Peyton Mills of Bradenton, FL, followed just behind with 80 and 79 for a total of 159 strokes. Mason Fulgencio of Tampa, FL, took third with rounds of 94 and 80, finishing at 174 strokes.
Jeri Lafleche of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, earned first place with consistent scores of 78 and 79, ending with 157 strokes. Hana Blinn of Clearwater, FL, claimed second with 80 and 85 for a 165 total. Christine Bagwill of New Port Richey, FL, tied for third with rounds of 82 and 84, totaling 166 strokes.
Mikayla Im of Bradenton, FL, delivered a strong performance, finishing in first place with rounds of 86 on Day 1 and 75 on Day 2, for a combined total of 161 strokes.
