Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Indianapolis Junior Open this past weekend, June 21-22, at Hickory Stick Golf Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 4 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Luke Cofer from New Palestine, IN claimed first place this weekend with rounds of 74 and 75, finishing with a total score of 149. Edward Cahill from Louisville, KY finished in second place with scores of 82 and 76 for a weekend total of 158. Riley McNicholas from Greenwood, IN finished in third place with scores of 82 and 78 for a weekend total of 160.
Maxwell Rinehart from Mount Vernon, IL and Spencer Roth from Monticello, IN both finished tied for first place. Rinehart carded rounds of 81 and 84 while Roth carded rounds of 87 and 78, both finishing with a weekend total of 165. Spencer Roth emerged victorious in the playoff. Carter Boatman from Lexington, KY finished in third place with scores of 88 and 84 for a weekend total of 172.
Presley White from Noblesville, IN was the first-place finisher this weekend with scores of 83 and 84 for a weekend total of 167. Ali Scott from Carmel, IN finished second place with scores of 91 and 85 for a combined total of 176. Ally Lewis from North Salem, IN finished third place with scores of 88 and 89 for a weekend total of 177.
