The IMG CC Junior Open wrapped up an unforgettable weekend of competition at the beautiful IMG Academy Golf Club from April 26-27, 2025. Over two exciting days, junior golfers from across the country showcased their talent, resilience, and passion for the game. Each
division brought thrilling performances and inspiring moments, making the event a true celebration of skill, sportsmanship, and the bright future of junior golf.
Zachary Georgantas from Foxboro, MA, finished in first place, firing a 73 on Day 1 and a stellar 69 on
Day 2, totaling 142 strokes. Nicholas Riccelli from Suffield, CT, secured second place with rounds of 74 and 69, finishing just one stroke behind at 143. Braden Bhalla from Ridgewood, NJ, captured third place, carding scores of 71 and 74 for a combined total of 145 strokes
Simthandile Tshabalala from Johannesburg, South Africa, finished in first place, shooting 80 on Day 1
and 76 on Day 2 for a total of 156 strokes. Hunter Benson from Mahomet, IL, and Nanxi Ren from
Beijing, China, both tied for second place with a total score of 158 strokes. Benson posted rounds of 82 and 76, while Ren carded 80 and 78.
Chi San Allen Huang from Bradenton, FL, finished in first place, shooting an impressive 70 on Day 1
and 77 on Day 2 for a total of 147 strokes. Jett Billy, also from Bradenton, FL, secured second place with rounds of 84 and 77 for a total of 161 strokes. Kane Solano from Las Vegas, NV, rounded out the top three with scores of 85 and 81, totaling 166 strokes.
Jeri Lafleche from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, finished in first place, delivering a strong performance with rounds of 71 on both Day 1 and Day 2, totaling 142 strokes. Mattea Issa from St. Andrew, Jamaica, secured second place with rounds of 75 and 77, for a total of 152 strokes. Natalie Catapano from Pacific Palisades, CA, claimed third place with rounds of 76 and 78, finishing with 154 strokes.
Zoe Yi from Hong Kong, China, finished in first place, posting rounds of 84 on Day 1 and 88 on Day 2, for a total of 172 strokes. Mikayla Im from Bradenton, FL, finished second with scores of 88 and 89, totaling 177 strokes. Stella Smith from Sioux Falls, SD, rounded out the top three with rounds of 91 and 93, finishing with a total of 184 strokes.
