From Aug 31st to Sep 1, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Hilton Head Labor Day Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that includes the Boys 16-18 division, Boys 14-15 division, Boys 10 and Under division, Girls 14-18 division, and Girls 13 and Under division.
Joey Looby from Cheyenne, Wyoming was the first-place finisher for the Boys 16-18 division this weekend. Looby brought in scores of 77 and 73 for a combined total of 150 strokes for the weekend. Luke Royer from Columbus, Ohio was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151 strokes. Ryan George from Bluffton, South Carolina finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 79 for a combined total of 154 strokes.
Jake Lupisella from Hilton Head, South Carolina, was the first-place finisher for Boys 14-15 division this weekend. Lupisella brought in scores of 81 and 79 for a combined total of 160 strokes. Collin Rushlow from Lake Wylie, South Carolina, was the runner up this weekend with scores of 83 and 88 for a combined total of 171 strokes. James Conroy from London – Spurs fan, England, finished the top three honors with scores of 92 and 89 for a combined total of 181 strokes.
Prithvi Patel from Lexington, South Carolina, was the first-place finisher for the Boys 11-13 division this weekend. Patel brought in scores of 90 and 85 for a combined total of 175 strokes.
Regan Polka from Saint Simons Island, Georgia, was the first-place finisher for the Boys 10 and Under division this weekend. Polka brought in scores of 107 and 103 for a combined total of 210 strokes.
Skylar Tierny from Ada, Michigan, was the first-place finisher for the Girls 14-18 division this weekend. Tierny brought in scores of 78 and 75 for a combined total of 153 strokes. Cate Leydig from Big Sky, Montana, was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 84 and 80 for a combined total of 164 strokes. Hailey Zhao from Bluffton, South Carolina finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 84 for a combined total of 164 strokes.
Sharon Liu from Charlotte, North Carolina, was the first-place finisher for the Girls 13 and Under division this weekend. Liu brought in scores of 84 and 86 for a combined total of 170 strokes.
