The Hartford Kickoff at Farmington Woods teed up a fantastic Sunday filled
with competitive fire, thrilling tiebreakers, and great energy from junior golfers across multiple divisions. Set against the lush backdrop of Farmington Woods Golf Club, this one-day tournament brought out both grit and grace on the greens.
Kyle Fusco from Rocky Point, NY, finished in first place with a strong round of 79 on Day 1, totaling 79
strokes. Mark Berlen from Milford, CT, followed closely behind in second with a score of 83. Elijah La
Tour from Tariffville, CT, tied for third, shooting 84 on the day.
Brayden Grossman from Avon, CT, made his hometown proud by finishing in first place, carding an 80 for the day. Timothy Hauser of Stony Point, NY, came in second with a score of 81, and Lucas Flynn from
Melrose, MA, rounded out the top three with an 82.
Tyler Lambert from Washington, DC, delivered a composed performance, scoring 83 to finish in first
place. Crosby Knowland from Ridgewood, NJ, came in second with an 86, while Thomas Sullivan of
Watertown, CT, took third with a score of 91.
Liam Rotatori from Stamford, CT, finished in first place after a thrilling tie at the top. He posted an 84 on
Day 1, the same score as Edouard Marchand from Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, but claimed the runner-up
title in the end. Jacob Day from Weston, CT, came in third with an 89.
Maggie Keithan from Cromwell, CT, led the division, carding a 103 to finish in first place. Demi
Robinson from Altamont, NY, and Veronica Shafer from New York, NY, tied for second with identical
rounds of 104.
Ornpicha Tanchanpong from Bangkok, Thailand, stole the show, finishing in first place with an impressive 83. Madison Black from Yorktown, NY, came in second with a score of 114, followed by Emma Marples of Yorktown Heights, NY, with 133.
