Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Hartford Junior Open this past weekend, August 16-17, at Blackhawk Country Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 6 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys U10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Will Reidy from Boston, MA was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Reidy brought in consistent scores of 72 for the weekend totaling 144 strokes. Dean Alex from Rockland, MA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 both days totaling a weekend score of 146 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Jake Null from Southbury, CT. Null brought in consistent scores of 77 for the weekend finishing with 154 strokes.
Quinlan Anderson from Fairfield, CT was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Anderson brought in scores of 78 and 91 for a weekend total of 169 strokes. Robert Mull from New Milford, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 86 and 84 for a weekend total of 170 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Torrin Denton and Liam McDonald. Denton, from Mullica Hill, NJ brought in scores of 90 and 85 for a weekend total of 175 strokes. McDonald, from Florence, MA finished the weekend with scores of 87 and 88 for a total of 175 strokes.
Edward Song from New York, NY was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Song finished with scores of 83 and 80 for a weekend total of 163 strokes. Christian Smith from Shelton, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 98 and 96 totaling 194 strokes.
Adam Querker from Orange, CT was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Querker brought in scores of 83 and 77 for a weekend total of 160 strokes. Leo Savone from Westport, CT was the runner up for the weekend. Savone finished with scores of 82 and 81 for a weekend total of 163 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Lucas Daily from Westport, CT. Daily finished the weekend with scores of 88 and 82 totaling 170 strokes.
Ellery Talbot from Riverside, CT was the first-place finisher for the weekend after winning in a playoff against Madison Marshak. Talbot brought in scores of 88 and 85 for a weekend total of 173 strokes. Marshak, from Riverhead, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 88 and 85 for a weekend total of 173 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Meghan McMackin from Sayville, NY. McMackin finished with scores of 93 and 92 for a weekend total of 185 strokes.
