From February 10-11, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Grand Strand Junior Open at True Blue. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls 14-18 Division.

Vaughn McMeans from Isle of Palms, SC was the first-place finisher of the Grand Strand Junior Open at True Blue. McMeans scored 73 and 72, giving him a combined total of 145 strokes.
