The Boys 14–15 Division at the Eagles Landing Junior Open delivered two rounds of competitive golf where patience, resilience, and smart play made all the difference. With a demanding course setup and tricky conditions, the field had to grind for every stroke—making this age group one of the most exciting to watch all weekend.
Griffin Lyell (Monroe, GA) rose to the challenge and claimed the title with a two-day total of +6 (114). After carding a steady opening 39 on Sunday, Lyell held his nerve and posted a 75, separating himself from the field. His ability to stay composed while others faltered proved the key to his championship performance.
Brayden Glickman (Roswell, GA) secured runner-up honors at +14 (122). Despite a tough final round 83, his strong opening day provided the cushion he needed to stay in second.
Just one stroke back, Henry Sukenik (Atlanta, GA) finished in 3rd at +15 (123). Sukenik’s 79 on Sunday showed fight and consistency, helping him edge out the rest of the field for a podium spot.
Nyre Williams Jr. (Atlanta, GA) claimed 4th at +18 (126), highlighted by a gritty final round of 82.
A three-way tie for 5th at +21 (129) featured Alexander Halkos (Atlanta, GA), Gage Scherr (Cataula, GA), and Mason Walcott (Tyrone, GA)—all proving their resilience against the demanding layout.
Rounding out the leaderboard, Ben Campbell (Atlanta, GA), James Gregory (Augusta, GA), and Owen Bell (Woodstock, GA) each showed heart in battling through the weekend’s challenges, with younger players like Beau Denison (Canton, GA) and Austin Blake (Peachtree City, GA) gaining valuable experience for future events.
The Boys 14–15 Division at Eagles Landing highlighted just how deep and competitive this age group is becoming. From Lyell’s steady victory to the determined play of Glickman, Sukenik, and the chasing pack, the weekend was a true display of junior golfers learning how to handle tough conditions and still deliver exciting, high-level play.
