The Dallas Junior Open wrapped up an exciting weekend at Southern Oaks Golf Club, where junior golfers competed across Boys 16-18, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11, and Girls 14-18 divisions, demonstrating their skills and determination over two competitive rounds on February 22-23, 2025.
Braxton Pitts from Boerne, TX, finished in first place, delivering rounds of 74 on Day 1 and 75 on Day 2, totaling 149 strokes. Bryce Carr from San Angelo, TX, secured second place, shooting 79 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, finishing with 153 strokes. Porter Howard from Fairway, KS, rounded out the top three, posting 82 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, for a combined 155 strokes.
Charles McClure from Norman, OK, finished in first place, carding 80 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, for a total of 154 strokes. Madex Swisher from Bennington, KS, claimed second place, shooting 78 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2, finishing with 155 strokes. Easton Shuler, also from Norman, OK, took third place, posting 81 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2, totaling 158 strokes.
Kylie Ellegood from Montgomery, TX, clinched first place, posting rounds of 82 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2, for a total of 162 strokes. Laney Hall from Sanger, TX, earned second place, recording 85 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2, finishing with 165 strokes. Ally Lewis from North Salem, IN, rounded out the top three, scoring 92 on Day 1 and 89 on Day 2, totaling 181 strokes.
