The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour lit up the greens at Eagle Trace
Golf Club this past weekend, April 5-6, 2025, as junior golfers from near and far competed in the Coral Springs Junior Open. With determination in their hearts and clubs in hand, these young athletes brought energy and elegance to every fairway, delivering another unforgettable HJGT event.
Yuchen Li of Beijing, China finished in first place after shooting a 78 on Day 1 and 75 on Day 2, totaling
153 strokes. Reed Weekley of Davie, FL placed second with rounds of 85 and 72, finishing with 157
strokes. Rory Gurandiano of New York, NY earned third with scores of 87 and 86 for a weekend total of
173 strokes.
Cole Laffere of Miami, FL finished in first place with scores of 76 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2, totaling
153 strokes. Danilo Custer of North Palm Beach, FL took second with rounds of 81 and 79, finishing with
160 strokes. Gerardo Zepeda of Boca Raton, FL secured third with two rounds of 81, ending at 162
strokes.
Gilberto Morales of Key Biscayne, FL finished in first place after scoring 82 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2,
for a total of 162 strokes. Gabriel Shabashkevich of Boca Raton, FL took second with scores of 89 and
79, totaling 168 strokes. Max Dimitrelos, also of Boca Raton, FL, rounded out the top three with rounds
of 87 and 90 for a total of 177 strokes.
Esha Nagalla of Pinecrest, FL finished in first place with rounds of 83 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2,
finishing at 157 strokes. Micaela Ruidias of Boynton Beach, FL took second with scores of 80 and 87,
ending at 167 strokes. Sophia Coronel of Miami, FL claimed third with rounds of 90 and 79, totaling 169
strokes.
Chloe Rounce of Nassau, Bahamas made her presence known as she finished in first place with a score of
87 on Day 1 and 95 on Day 2, for a weekend total of 182 strokes.
