From May 21-22, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Columbus Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Jacob Beaschler from Nevada, Ohio was the first-place finisher this weekend. Beaschler brought in scores of 78 and 73 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Charlie Fish from Cincinnati, Ohio was the runner-up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 78 for a combined total of 153. Brian Luft from Thornville, Ohio finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 74 for a weekend total of 157.
