The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour brought the excitement to Denison Golf Club this past weekend, May 17–18, with the thrilling Columbus Junior Open. Set against the stunning backdrop of one of the area’s most scenic courses, the action-packed two-day tournament featured 36 intense holes of competition. Talented junior golfers from across the region teed off in five dynamic divisions: Boys 16–18, Boys 14–15, Boys 12–13, Boys 10–11, and Girls 14–18, showcasing skill, determination, and a true passion for the game.
Gavin Gress from Coshocton, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gress brought in scores of 76 and 73 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Nicholas Pihl from Delaware, OH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 75 for a combined total of 157. Anthony LaBoda from Erie, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 76 for a weekend total of 158.
Colton Gress from Coshocton, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gress brought in scores of 83 and 78 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Brock Hurley from Beverly, OH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 81for a combined total of 163. Jayden Park from Wexford, PA finished tied for top three honors with scores of 86 and 78 for a weekend total of 164. Nicholas Thompson from New Albany, OH also finished tied for top three honors with scores of 86 and 78 for a weekend total of 164.
Max Pulley from Zionsville, IN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Pulley brought in scores of 95 and 87 for a combined total of 182 for the weekend
Parker McKinney from Pickerington, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. McKinney brought in scores of 111 and 107 for a combined total of 218 for the weekend.
Caroline Zeiger from New Albany, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. Zeiger brought in scores of 80 and 82 for a combined total of 162 for the weekend. Olivia Baker from St. Clairsville, OH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 81 for a combined total of 163. Reagan Kelly from Heath, OH finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 84 for a weekend total of 171.
