Oviedo, FL – January 20, 2025 – The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the College Prep Series at UCF this past weekend, January 18-19, 2025, at Twin Rivers Golf Club in Oviedo, FL. The tournament featured a competitive 36-hole format and included a strong field across multiple divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 10-11, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13.
Seunghwa Baek from Cheonan-si, Republic of Korea, finished in first place with an outstanding performance. Baek showcased exceptional skill, improving from a 76 on Day 1 to an impressive 70 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 146. Gabriel Hull from South Daytona, FL, delivered a strong effort to claim second place with scores of 72 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, for a total of 146. Arya Patel from Oviedo, FL, secured third place with scores of 77 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2, for a weekend total of 157.
Jad Mourine from Rabat, Morocco, finished in first place with scores of 85 on Day 1 and 82 on Day 2, for a combined total of 167. Cole Hornick from Myrtle Beach, SC, secured second place with scores of 106 on Day 1 and 97 on Day 2, for a total of 203.
Travis Reaves from Lake Mary, FL, finished in first place. Reaves delivered rounds of 80 on Day 1 and a strong 38 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 118. Joseph Wang from Chevy Chase, MD, claimed second place with scores of 79 on Day 1 and 41 on Day 2, for a total of 120.
Zara Staley from Sarasota, FL, finished in first place with a stellar performance. Staley brought in scores of 75 on Day 1 and 44 on Day 2, for a combined total of 119. Alexandra Botsis from Mont-Royal, Canada, secured second place with scores of 82 on Day 1 and a strong 39 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 121. Sophie Weber from Burlington, Canada, rounded out the top three with scores of 84 on Day 1 and 39 on Day 2, for a total of 123.
Chloe Jinwen Han from Suzhou, China, finished in first place. Han posted scores of 85 on Day 1 and an impressive 43 on Day 2, for a total of 128. Noelle Wood from Orlando, FL, claimed second place with scores of 122 on Day 1 and 67 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 189.
