The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour delivered an unforgettable weekend of competition at the Cobblestone Junior Open, held May 17–18 at the picturesque Cobblestone Golf Course. With 36 challenging holes spread across two action-filled days, the tournament brought together some of the region’s most talented junior golfers. Competing in three highly competitive divisions—Boys 16–18, Boys 14–15, and Boys 12–13—these rising stars demonstrated impressive skill, unwavering focus, and a deep passion for the game in a thrilling showcase of junior golf.
Dakota George from Ooltewah, TN was the first-place finisher this weekend. George brought in scores of 72 and 78 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Brody McLaughlin from Canton, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 77 for a combined total of 156. Tanner Toups from White, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 76 for a weekend total of 157.
Drew Thompson from Cleveland, TN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Thompson brought in scores of 75 and 78 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Casper Lockhart from Clemson, SC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 77 for a combined total of 158. Henry Sukenik from Atlanta, GA finished in top three honors with scores of 84 and 81 for a weekend total of 165.
Jack Mallouk from Acworth, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mallouk brought in scores of 80 and 84 for a weekend total of 164. Josiah Hardee from Johns Creek, GA finished in second place with scores of 83 and 82 for a combined total of 165. In a tie for third place were Wilson Goldthorp and Thomas Lea. Wilson Goldthorp from Summerville, GA brought in scores of 91 and 81 for a weekend total of 172. Thomas Lea from Atlanta, GA brought in scores of 89 and 83 for a weekend total of 172.
