From June 29-30, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Coastal Carolina Summer Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Micah Sheffer from Brownstown, IN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sheffer brought in scores of 74 and 70 for a combined total of 144 for the weekend. Santino Pineda from Muntinlupa City, Philippines was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 70 and 79 for a combined total of 149. Ellis Neal from Mt Pleasant, SC finished the top three honors with scores of 73 and 77 for a weekend total of 150.
Braceton Beasley from Glenwood, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Beasley brought in scores of 69 and 78 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Zachary Ezer from Beverly Hills, CA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 79 for a combined total of 155. Derek Wolfe from Greenwich, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 82 for a weekend total of 158.
Kaden Smiley from LA, CA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smiley brought in scores of 71 and 83 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Samuel Metz from Rehoboth Beach, DE was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 76 for a combined total of 159. Benjamin Burtman from Raleigh, NC finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 86 for a weekend total of 168.
Lauren Nau from Scottsdale, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Nau brought in scores of 76 and 79 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Lexi Palazzo from Hilton Head Island, SC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 79 for a combined total of 158. There was a two way tie for third place with a total of 167 strokes.
