2022 Charlotte Summer Junior Open
From July 2-3, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Charlotte Summer Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Trent Cade from Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cade brought in scores of 71 and 70 for a combined total of 141 for the weekend. Zihang Qiu from Ningbo, China was the runner up with scores of 70 and 72 for a combined total of 142. Colby McCaskill from Fort Mill, South Carolina finished the top three honors with scores of 71and 79 for a weekend total of 150.

Parker Harcum from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Lewis Niad from Oak Ridge, Tennessee finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 39, and 80 and 36, respectively, for a weekend total of 116 each.
