Champions Gate Junior Open
From June18-19, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Champions Gate Jr. Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13.

Eugene Kang from Seoul, South Korea was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kang brought in scores of 73 and 67 for a combined total of 140 for the weekend. Aaron Lin from New Taipei City, Taiwan was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 68 and 72 for a combined total of 140. Matthew Joseph from Lakewood Ranch, Florida finished the top three honors with scores of 67 and 75 for a weekend total of 142.
