Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Central New Jersey Junior Open this past weekend, July 12-13, at The Ridge at Back Brook. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 5 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys 10-11 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
David Burmeister from Coopersburg, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Burmeister brought in scores of 68 and 73 for a weekend total of 141. John Gavaghan from Ambler, PA finished in second place with scores of 74 and 74 for a weekend total of 148. Will Giegerich from Robbinsville, NJ and Luca Kleinschmidt from Wallingford, PA finished tied for third place. Giegerich carded rounds of 79 and 70, while Kleinschmidt carded rounds of 72 and 77, both finishing the weekend with a total of 149.
Scott Cunningham from Wayne, PA was the first-place finisher this past week. Cunningham brought in scores of 74 and 82 for a weekend total of 156. Ryan Shah from Newton, PA finished in second place with scores of 83 and 80 for a combined total of 163. Kenneth Kiger finished in third place with scores of 85 and 79 for a total of 164.
Eric Cunningham from Wayne, PA was the first-place finisher this past week. Cunningham brought in scores of 80 and 72 for a combined total of 152. Christos Bottos from Berwyn, PA finished in second place with scores of 81 and 76 for a weekend total of 157. Preston Minio from Lansdale, PA finished in third place with scores of 76 and 85 for a weekend total of 161.
Taerin Lee from Jericho, NY was the first-place finisher this past week. Lee carded rounds of 79 and 77 for a weekend total of 156. Nicolette Bottos from Berwyn, PA finished in second place with scores of 85 and 73 for a combined total of 158. Charlotte Reid from Cream Ridge, NJ finished in third place with scores of 83 and 80 for a weekend total of 163.
