From March 9-10, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Central Florida Spring Break Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls 14-18 Division.
Ryan Cronin from Eden Prairie, MN was the first-place finisher of the Central Florida Spring Break Junior Open after winning a tiebreaker playoff against both Jack Bachman from Prescott, AZ and Carter Boynton from Wesley Chapel, FL. All three competitors scored 144 strokes, with Cronin shooting 74 and 70 while Bachman scored 72 in both rounds and Boynton shot 74 and 70.
Imran Putera from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Putera scored 74 and 72, giving him a combined total of 146 strokes. Patrick Paquette from Cincinnati, OH was the runner up. Paquette shot 75 and 74, finishing with 149 strokes. Hayes Corcell from Tampa, FL and Tiger Guo from Clermont, FL were tied for third-place honors. Both scored 151 strokes, with Corcell shooting 78 and 73, while Guo shot 76 and 75.
David Cochran from Tampa, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Cochran scored 74 and 76, giving him a combined total of 150 strokes. Michael J. Kim from Montverde, FL was the runner up. Kim shot 77 and 74, finishing with 151 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Jack Smith from Miami Springs, FL. Smith scored 74 and 78, giving him a combined total of 152 strokes.
Travis Reaves from Lake Mary, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys U10 Division. Reaves scored 87 and 82, giving him a combined total of 169 strokes. Joseph Primo from Lake Nona, FL was the runner up. Primo shot 89 and 86, finishing with a total of 175 strokes.
Victoria Feng from Windermere, FL was the first-place finisher of the Girls 14-18 Division. Feng scored 73 in both rounds, giving her a combined total of 146 strokes. Abigail Avallone from Bethseda, MD was the runner up. Avallone shot 76 and 72, finishing with 148 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors were Treva Dodd from Brookfield, WI and Lilliana Ford from Debary, FL. Both scored 149 strokes, with Dodd shooting 78 and 71 while Ford shot 74 and 75.
