The Central Florida Junior Open delivered a weekend full of exciting competition at Timacuan Golf and Country Club. Junior golfers showcased their talent across the Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 10-11, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13 divisions from February 22-23, 2025, demonstrating remarkable perseverance and skill across multiple divisions.
Luis Geraldo Eboli Villegas from Merida, Mexico, finished in first place, carding rounds of 76 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, for a total of 149 strokes. Summer Meekhof from Eastmanville, MI, secured second place with scores of 77 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, totaling 150 strokes. Liam Merlino from Tampa, FL, finished in third place, posting rounds of 75 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, for a total of 153 strokes.
Taylor Pan from Wellesley, MA, claimed first place with rounds of 89 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2, finishing with 174 strokes. Graydon Moore from Lloydminster, Canada, finished second with scores of 81 on Day 1 and 96 on Day 2, totaling 177 strokes. Kaden Zeigler from West Terre Haute, IN, secured third place, posting 90 on Day 1 and 95 on Day 2, for a total of 185 strokes.
Travis Reeves from Lake Mary, FL, delivered an outstanding performance to take first place, recording rounds of 72 on Day 1 and 67 on Day 2, totaling 139 strokes.
Sophia Cavanagh from St. Augustine, FL, clinched first place, posting rounds of 79 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, finishing with 160 strokes. Madeleine Burda from Saint Cloud, FL, and Caroline McShea from Old Greenwich, CT, tied for second place, each totaling 164 strokes. Burda carded rounds of 82 on both
days, while McShea recorded 79 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2.
River Wang from Plainview, NY, finished in first place, posting rounds of 98 on Day 1 and 102 on Day 2, for a total of 200 strokes. Noelle Wood from Orlando, FL, secured second place with scores of 118 on Day 1 and 112 on Day 2, finishing with 230 strokes.
