2022 Cantigny Summer Junior Open
From July 30-31, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Cantigny Summer Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of three divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Eli DeLaMater from Hinsdale, Illnois was the first-place finisher this weekend. DeLaMater brought in scores of 70 and 76 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Ty Doty from South Elgin, Illinois was the runner up with scores of 74 and 75 for a combined total of 149. Luke LaFond from Green Bay, Wisconsin finished the top three honors with scores of 74 and 76 for a weekend total of 150.

Mitchell Gawel from Frankfort, Illinois was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gawel brought in scores of 84 and 82 for a combined total of 166 for the weekend. Matt Trimble from Geneva, Illinois was the runner up this weekend with scores of 83 and 84 for a combined total of 167. Chen Hung from Taipei, Taiwan finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 87 for a weekend total of 169.

Brooke Deebs from Spring, Texas was the first-place finisher this weekend. Deebs brought ins cores of 81 and 79 for a combined total of 160 for the weekend. Tess Breslin from Dubuque, Iowa and Zell Wilson from Chicago Illinois tied for the runner up this weekend with scores of 85 and 80, and 85 and 80, respectively, for a combined total of 165 each.
