From April 15-16, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Cantigny Junior Open. Ttournament was made up of a 27-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division. Due to weather, only 9 holes were played on Sunday, April 16th.
Connor Banks from Oswego, IL and Nathan Elm from Alogonquin, IL were deemed co-champions this weekend due to weather conditions. Banks brought in scores of 84 and 42 for a combined total of 126 for the weekend. Nathan Elm finished the weekend with scores of 82 and 44 for a combined total of 126. Conor Fayard from Mundelein, IL finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 45 for a weekend total of 128.
Evan Graham from Bettendorf, IA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Graham brought in scores of 80 and 39 for a combined total of 119 for the weekend. Jack Zeiger from Chicago, IL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 42 for a combined total of 127. Henry O’Toole from Chicago, IL finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 50 for a weekend total of 133.
Fitzpatrick Knight from Lake Forest, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Knight brought in scores of 86 and 42 for a combined total of 128 for the weekend. Joshua Coniaris from Downers Grove, IL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 92 and 43 for a combined total of 135. Clayton Barnett from Wheaton, IL and Mitchell Shroyer from Middleton, WI tied to finish out the top three honors for the weekend. Barnett’s scores of 92 and 45 and Shroyer’s scores of 88 and 49 both combined for a weekend total fo 137.
Elise Fennell from Caledonia, MI was the first-place finisher this weekend. Fennell brought in scores of 80 and 37 for a combined total of 117 for the weekend. McKenna Nelson from Beaver Dam, WI was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 46 for a combined total of 120. Kelby Anderson from International Falls, MN finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 44 for a weekend total of 128.
Addison Roesch from Menomonee Falls, WI was the first-place finisher this weekend. Roesch brought in scores of 87 and 46 for a combined total of 133 for the weekend. Emilia Glombicki from Munster, IN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 135 and 66 for a combined total of 201.
