Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Bull Run Junior Open this past week, July 7-8, at Bull Run Golf Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 6 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys 10-11 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13 Division.

Mason Shapiro from Brambleton, VA was the first-place finisher this past week. Shapiro carded rounds of 77 and 71 for a combined total of 148. Jake McCormack from Ashburn, VA finished in second place with scores of 72 and 78 for a combined total of 150. Dasch Cox from Henrico, VA and Santino Pineda from Muntinlupa City, Philippines finished tied for third place.
