From August 10-11, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Braelinn Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Patrick Delaney from Marietta, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Delaney brought in scores of 70 and 68 for a combined total of 138 for the weekend. Brady Himes from Columbus, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 72 for a combined total of 145. Noah Erickson from Alpharetta, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 72 and 77 for a weekend total of 149. Grayson Power from Newnan, GA also finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 68 for a weekend total of 149. Robert Wrobley from Acworth, GA also finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 70 for a weekend total of 149.
Jackson Herrick from Social Circle, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Herrick brought in scores of 83 and 77 for a combined total of 160 for the weekend. Maxwell Rinehart from Mount Vernon, IL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 85 for a combined total of 162. Stockton Hay from Peachtree City, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 80 for a weekend total of 163.
