The Birmingham Spring Junior Open delivered a weekend full of excitement and fierce competition at FarmLinks Golf Club at Pursell Farms. From March 1-2, 2025, junior golfers from across the country showcased their skills, determination, and competitive spirit across multiple divisions, these young athletes put on an unforgettable performance.
Hayden Smith from Athens, AL, finished in first place, delivering a stellar 66 on Day 1 followed by a solid 74 on Day 2, totaling 140 strokes. Jude Robbins from Frisco, TX, secured second place, posting 77 on Day 1 and bouncing back strong with a 69 on Day 2, finishing at 146 strokes. Weston Lowry from
Nashville, TN, rounded out the top three, shooting 77 on both Day 1 and Day 2, totaling 151 strokes.
Jackson Young from Kennesaw, GA, finished in first place, battling through the course with rounds of 78 on Day 1 and 79 on Day 2, finishing at 157 strokes. Breckin Miller from Wamego, KS, claimed second place with an 82 on Day 1 and a 76 on Day 2, totaling 158 strokes. Peter Pettit from Atlanta, GA, took
third place, posting a 91 on Day 1 and 84 on Day 2, wrapping up the tournament with 175 strokes.
Asher Ellis from Centre, AL, secured first place, delivering rounds of 78 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, finishing at 159 strokes. Luke Keefer from Monroe, GA, took second place, posting 87 on Day 1 and 90 on Day 2, bringing his total to 177 strokes. Timothy (Tab) Baker from Hoover, AL, finished in third place with rounds of 103 on Day 1 and 105 on Day 2, totaling 208 strokes.
Baker Behm from Blue Mountain, MS, put together a solid performance to claim first place, scoring 94 on Day 1 and 86 on Day 2, finishing with 180 strokes. John Isaiah Baker from Hoover, AL, secured second place, posting 110 on Day 1 and 108 on Day 2, totaling 218 strokes.
Addison Ryland from Soddy Daisy, TN, clinched first place in the girls’ division, showing consistency with an 83 on Day 1 and 90 on Day 2, finishing at 173 strokes.
