From June 18-19, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Atlanta Summer Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Jack Butts from Paducah, Kentucky was the first-place finisher this weekend. Butts brought in scores of 77 and 79 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Will Perkins from Acworth, Georgia was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 79 for a combined total of 157. Austin Spencer from Statham, Georgia finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 81 for a weekend total of 159.
