From April 30th to May 1st, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Atlanta Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Vicente Smith from Santiago, Chile was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smith brought in scores of 77 and 73 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Kunakorn Kai Wen Tang from Raleigh, NC was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 73 and 79 for a combined total of 152. Will Perkins from Acworth, GA finished with top three honors with scores of 83 and 75 for a weekend total of 158.
