Arizona Spring Break Junior Open
From March 11-12, 2023, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Arizona Spring Break Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Matthew Ahlgrim from Farmington, NM was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 66 for a combined total of 143. Steensland defeated Ahlgrim in a playoff. Quinn Earwood from Platte City, MO and Thomas Meader from Lake Elmo, MN tied to finish out the top three honors. Earwood’s scores of 73 and 77 and Meader’s scors of 77 and 73 combined to tie for a weekend total of 150.
