From February 18-20, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 54 Holes Phoenix Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Ashton McArthur from Rexburg, ID was the first-place finisher this weekend. McArthur brought in scores of 72, 66, and 70 for a combined total of 208 for the weekend. Blake Steensland from Edina, MN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74, 70, and 71 for a combined total of 215. Kyle Koski from Chandler, AZ finished the top three honors with scores of 73, 71, and 73 for a weekend total of 217.
Miles Elgert from Lincoln, NE was the first-place finisher this weekend. Elgert brought in scores of 76, 73, and 77 for a combined total of 226 for the weekend. Carver Larson from Alexandria, MN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74, 77, and 79 for a combined total of 230. Luke Duval from Scottsdale, AZ the top three honors with scores of 77, 80, and 75 for a weekend total of 232.
