The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the 54 Hole Orlando Junior Open this past weekend, February 15-17, 2025, at Orange Lake Resort and Country Club in Kissimmee, FL. Junior golfers competed in four divisions over the course of three intense rounds, showcasing remarkable talent and determination.
Lucas Starr from Orlando, FL, finished in first place, capping off a stellar weekend with scores of 76 on Day 1, 78 on Day 2, and 73 on Day 3, for a total of 227 strokes. Ricardo Alberto Arango Navarro from Panama, Panama, put up a strong fight and secured second place, posting scores of 83 on Day 1, 81 on Day 2, and an impressive 69 on Day 3, totaling 233 strokes. Chi San Allen Huang from Bradenton, FL, rounded out the top three with scores of 80 on Day 1, 80 on Day 2, and 75 on Day 3, finishing with 235 strokes.
Tomas Balakrishnan from Chester, United Kingdom, emerged victorious, finishing in first place with scores of 76 on Day 1, 78 on Day 2, and 73 on Day 3, totaling 227 strokes. Maximilien Demole from Nassau, Bahamas, followed closely behind, taking second place with scores of 77 on Day 1, 81 on Day 2, and 71 on Day 3, finishing with 229 strokes. Travis Reaves from Lake Mary, FL, took third place, posting scores of 78 on Day 1, 83 on Day 2, and 81 on Day 3, for a total of 242 strokes.
Seoyeon Oh from Johns Creek, GA, showcased her skill and resilience, finishing in first place with scores of 78 on Day 1, 76 on Day 2, and 73 on Day 3, totaling 227 strokes. Carlee Meilleur from Lansdowne, Canada, came in a close second place, recording scores of 78 on Day 1, 78 on Day 2, and 72 on Day 3, for a total of 228 strokes. Maria Antonia Gavião from Porto Alegre, Brazil, finished in third place, securing scores of 77 on Day 1, 79 on Day 2, and 73 on Day 3, totaling 229 strokes
Andrea Seale from Frederick, MD, dominated her division and finished in first place with scores of 85 on Day 1, 82 on Day 2, and 91 on Day 3, finishing with a total of 258 strokes.
