From May 28-30, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 54 Hole Kansas City Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 54-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Calen Bishop from Johnston, Iowa was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bishop brought in scores of 75, 76, and 73 for a combined total of 224 for the weekend. Jackson Overton from Indianola, Iowa and Kingston Solomon from Omaha, Nebraska tied for the runner-up this weekend with scores of 775, 74, and 78, and 76, 77, and 74, respectively, for a total of 227 each.

Titus Johnson from Kansas City, Missouri finished the top three honors with scores of 80, 91, and 84 for a weekend total of 255.
