From February 17-19, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the 54 Hole Huntsville Junior Open. The tournament was made of a 54-hole format and a field of four divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Kash Cantrell from Benon, IL was the first-place finisher of the 54 Hole Huntsville Junior Open. Cantrell scored 74, 80 and 77 giving him a combined total of 231 strokes. Lawson Barks from Poplar Bluff, MO was the runner up. Barks shot 84, 73 and 77 to finish with a total of 234 strokes. Ian Lambert from Jackson, MO and Ian Perry from Plainfield, IN tied for third-place honors with 235 strokes. Lambert scored 83, 78 and 74 while Perry shot 83, 80 and 72.
Brooks Englert from Chapel Hill, NC was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Englert scored 87, 83, and 82, giving him a combined total of 252 strokes. Austin Nicholas from Morrow, OH was the runner up. Nicholas shot 100, 86 and 77 to finish with a total of 263 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Brooks Bohannon from Lowell, AR. Bohannon scored 108, 90, and 95, finishing the weekend with 293 strokes.
Zoey Cho from Suwanee, GA was the first-place finisher of the Girls 14-18 Division. Cho scored 84, 77, and 72, giving her a combined total of 233 strokes. Kaylee Gatlin from Madison, MS was the runner up. Gatlin shot 88, 85 and 84 to finish with 257 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Zhana Navato from Toronto, Canada. Navato scored 93, 86 and 79 giving her a combined total of 258 strokes.
Kayley Turner from Coldwater, MI was the first-place finisher of the Girls U13 Division. Turner scored 103, 95 and 100, giving her a combined total of 298 strokes.
