From February 17-19, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the 54 Hole Fort Myers Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 54-hole format and a field of five divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Clark Mason from St. Petersburg, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 16-18 Division. Mason scored 72, 40, and 71 to finish with a combined total of 183 strokes. Cody Guetzke from Hartland, WI was the runner up. Guetzke shot 75 and 39 in the first two rounds and an even 72 in round three, giving him a total of 186 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Brady Hall from Kingston, Canada. Hall scored 74, 39 and 77 giving him a combined total of 190 strokes.
Inigo Friend from Key Biscayne, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Friend scored 83, 40 and 81 giving him a combined total of 204 strokes. Borja Friend from Key Biscayne, FL was the runner up. Friend shot 82, 42 and 81 to finish the weekend just one point behind the leader with 205 strokes. Lance Zhang from Miami, FL rounded out the top three honors. Zhang scored 81, 46 and 80 giving him a combined total of 207 strokes.
Christopher Ma from Davenport, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Ma scored 72, 39 and 74 giving him a combined total of 185 strokes. Mingyao (Chris) Yang from Bradenton, FL was the runner up. Yang shot 85, 45 and 87 to finish with 217 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Adam Jenkins from Estero, FL. Jenkins scored 89, 42 and 93 giving him a total score of 224 strokes.
Annie Jin from Bellevue, WA was the first-place finisher of the 54 Hole Fort Myers Junior Open. Jin scored 73 in round one, 1-under par 35 in round two and 74 in the third to finish with a combined total of 182 strokes. Ann-Sophie Bourgault from Quebec, Canada was the runner up. Bourgault shot 72, 38 and 75 giving her a total of 185 strokes. Elena Zreik from Sleepy Hollow, NY rounded out the top three honors. Zreik scored 74, 38 and 75 to finish the weekend with 187 strokes.
Esha Nagalla from Pinecrest, FL was the first-place finisher of the Girls U13 Division. Nagalla scored 86, 39 and 80 giving her a combined total of 205 strokes. Stephanie Galliford from Naples, FL was the runner up. Galliford shot 114, 58 and 99 to finish the weekend with 271 strokes.
