The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour brought the intensity to the Northeast with the 54 Holes Connecticut Junior Open, where top junior golfers from across the globe competed in a thrilling three-day showdown. Hosted at a premier course, the tournament featured fierce competition across four divisions—Boys 16–18, Boys 14–15, Boys 12–13, and Girls 14–18. From international standouts to local rising stars, players battled changing conditions and challenging layouts, delivering clutch shots and dramatic finishes. It was a weekend packed with passion, perseverance, and championship-caliber golf that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
Julian Ortiz from Mexico was the first- place finisher this weekend. Ortiz brought in scores of 73,72, and 73 for a weekend total of 218. SJ Welch JR from Newport, ME was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 80,75, and 70 for a combined total of 225. Kyle Beaudry from Madison, CT finished in top three honors this weekend with scores of 79, 73, and 77 for a weekend total of 229.
Luke Nguyen from Braintree, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Nguyen brought in scores of 86,81, and 77 for a weekend total of 244. Luis Felipe Linares from Bogota, Colombia was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 83,83, and 79 for a weekend total of 245. Quinn Susanin from New Canaan, CT finished in third place with scores of 89,79, and 79 for a combined total of 247.
