St. Augustine, FL – January 13, 2025 – The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the 2025 Hurricane Cup this past weekend, January 11-12, 2025 at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of # divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys 11-10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division. There was also a team event attached to the 2025 Hurricane Cup. The North Team was victorious after securing the championship title by 145 strokes.
Noah Ochab on the North Team, finished as the firt-place finisher for the weekend. Ochab brought in scores of 76 and a low 70 for a weekend total of 146 strokes. Caleb Walsh from the North Team was the runner up for the weekend. Walsh finished with scores of 70 and 78 for a weekend total of 148 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Enzo Clerici from the North Team. Clerici finished with scores of 76 and 74 for a final total of 150 strokes.
Owen Johnson from Team North was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Johnson finished the weekend with scores of 80 and 74 for a weekend total of 154 strokes. Noah Grassman from Team North was the runner up for the weekend. Grassman finished with scores of 75 and 81 for a weekend total of 156 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Anthony Primo IV from Team South. Primo brought in scores of 81 and 78 for a weekend total of 159 strokes.
Krish Choksi from Team South was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Choksi brought in scores of 77 both days for a weekend total of 154 strokes. Brian Kelley from Team South was the runner up for the weekend. Kelley finished with scores of 80 and 76 for a weekend total of 156 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Reece Goodson from Team South. Goodson finished the weekend with scores of 81 and 78 for a weekend total of 159 strokes.
Bodie Patton from Team North was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Patton brought in scores of 74 and 76 for a weekend total of 150 strokes. 2024 Player of the Year, Travis Reaves from Team South was the runner up for the weekend. Reaves brought in scores of 78 and 79 for a weekend total of 157 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Marcus Sahara from Team North. Sahara finished the weekend with scores of 80 and 79 for a weekend total of 159 strokes.
Corin Martinez from Team South was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Martinez brought in scores of 79 and 82 for a weekend total of 161 strokes. Ryley Regan from Team North was the runner up for the weekend. Regan finished with scores of 86 and 76 for a weekend total of 162 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Nina Lang from Team North. Lang brought in scores of 83 and 82 for a weekend total of 165 strokes.
Alexi Omillian from Team North was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Omillian brought in scores of 83 and 79 for a weekend total of 162 strokes. Kayley Turner from Team North was the runner up for the weekend. Turner finished with scores of 83 and 85 for a weekend total of 168 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was 2024 Player of the Year, Sharon Liu from Team South. Liu finished the weekend with scores of 82 and 90 for a weekend total of 172 strokes.
