From December. 27-28, 2023 the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 2023 Eagle Creek Holiday Open . The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Andrew Zhao from Tampa, FL was the first-place finisher for the 2023 Eagle Creek Holiday Open. Zhao brought in scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151 strokes. Michael Jensen from Tampa, FL and Langtai Tyrone Sun from Windermere, FL tied for the runner up honors. Both Jensen and Sun finished with scores of 75 and 77 for a total of 152 strokes.
Yuheng Li from Sunrise, FL was the first-place finisher for the 2023 Eagle Creek Holiday Open. Li finished under par with scores of round 1 73 and round 2 71, finishing -2 with 144 strokes. Anthony Primo IV from Lake Nona, FL was the runner up. Primo finished with scores of 74 and 80 for a final score of 154 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Brennan Leistner from Orlando, FL. Leistner finished with scores of 76 and 80 for a final score of 156 strokes.
Connor Danahy from Lake Nona, FL was the first-place finisher for the Boys 11-13 division. Danahy brought in consistent scores of 72 for a total of 144 strokes. Ryan Oats from Lake Mary, FL was the runner-up with consistent scores of 74 for both days. Oats finished with a total score of 148 strokes. Yuhao Wang from Orlando, FL rounded out the top three honors with a final total of 149 strokes.
Jayden Wu from Boston, MA was the first-place finisher for the Boys Under 10 division. Wu brought in scores of 78 and 79 for a total of 157 strokes. William Scott from Castle Rock, CO was the runner-up for the tournament. Scott finished the weekend with 162 strokes bringing in an 82 on round 1 and 80 for round 2. Rounding out the top three honors was Alex Feng from Toronto, Canada. Feng finished the tournament with a final score of 181 strokes.
Bretton Mackiewicz from Longwood, FL was the first-place finisher for the Girls 14-18 division. Mackiewicz brought in consistent scores of 71 for a total of 142 strokes, finishing 4 under par. Qing Lyu from Centreville, VA was the runner-up with scores of 70 and 76 for a final scores of 146 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Peiruo Cheng from Centreville, VA. Cheng finished with scores of 74 and 75 for a total of 149 strokes.
Anna Bell was the first-place finisher for the Girls Under 13 division and the overall lowest score for the weekend. Bell from Poplar Bluff, MO brought in scores of round 1, 69 and round 2, 70 for a final score of 139 strokes. Bell finished the tournament with an impressive 7 under par showing. Connie Tang from Vancouver, Canada was the runner-up with scores of 76 and 77, a final total of 153 strokes. Hana Blinn from Clearwater, FL rounded out the top three honors with scores of 76 and 81 for a total of 157 strokes.
